A BETTER THINGS PROGRAMME
Turn your space into
Three kinds of hosts
One community
01
RESIDENT HOST
You have a home and a hosting instinct
You are the person who brings people together. Your living room, function room, or terrace — open it to a curated group, be part of the experience yourself and meet people you're glad came through your door. At preferential rates.
→ Your space, your community, your discount.
02
HOME BUSINESS HOST
You run something from home
You run a café, a bakery, an atelier from home. Sessions bring a curated group through your door. Where it makes sense, what you make becomes part of the experience.
→ New connections, recurring.
03
SENIOR HOST
You have decades worth sharing
Lead your own sessions in language, craft, cooking, movement or culture and share what you know with people who want to learn. Or simply open your home and let others bring the programme.
→ Your knowledge, your space, your terms.

HOW IT WORKS
Simple by design
01
Apply and tell us about your space
A short form that helps us understand your home and the kinds of experiences that appeal to you. We use your answers to find the right match — a provider whose format and audience suit your space. You get a full brief before anything is confirmed.
02
Your first session runs
We handle participants, bookings, and communications. You open the door and enjoy the session.
03
It becomes regular
A standing slot in your home, at a cadence that works for you. Something that builds with every session.
"A home that gathers is a home that lives."
Frequently asked questions
What kinds of sessions happen in homes?
Fitness and wellness sessions, children enrichment workshops, chess socials, cultural craft, language exchanges, culinary sessions and more. We match the session type to your space and your interests.
Do I get to choose what gets hosted in my space?
Yes. Sessions are surfaced to you based on what suits your interest and space, and you confirm only what works for you. Nothing is finalised without your agreement.
Do I need to be home during the session?
Yes. You are the host, not the venue. Your presence is part of what makes the gathering feel like a gathering.
What do I actually have to do on the day?
Make sure your space is clean and ready to welcome people. If you are joining the session as a participant, come ready to enjoy it. If you are a home business host, have your product prepared as agreed. If you are a senior host providing refreshments, have those ready. Beyond that — open the door, welcome people in, and let the session do the rest. We handle bookings, participant communications, and coordination beforehand.
Is there a cost to join?
No. Host and Found membership is free. As a member, you enjoy preferential rates on sessions held in your space. For those with something to offer — a product, a practice, or a skill — there may also be opportunities to share that with the people who come through your door.
How many people will come into my home?
It depends on your space and the session format. We work with you to agree on a number that feels comfortable before anything is confirmed. Nothing is finalised without your say.
Can I host in a communal space, not just my own home?
Yes. Function rooms, rooftop terraces, and other communal areas work well for certain session formats. Just make sure all necessary bookings and approvals are in place before the session is confirmed. We will work around your space and your schedule from there.
What happens after I submit my application?
We review every application personally and will be in touch within 5 working days by WhatsApp or email. If your space looks like a good fit, we will arrange a short call or a visit before anything is confirmed. Once you are onboarded, you will be welcomed into the Host and Found Community where you get early access to upcoming sessions or be matched directly with ones that suit your space.
